Tools needed: Strap wrench or pipe wrench, vise with barrel blocks or Panther Claws upper receiver tool.

1. Before beginning work be sure that rifle is UNLOADED.
2. Remove handguard and factory gas system.
3. Remove factory barrel nut and install aluminum barrel nut with strap wrench or pipe wrench (recommended). If pipe wrench is used you will need to file the teeth marks off the barrel nut before installing the Clark Carbon Fiber Handguard.
4. When gluing carbon fiber handguard be sure sling stud is on bottom center.
5. Glue with Elmers Ultimate, Devcon High Strength, Gorilla Glue etc.
6. Rotate handguard when installing to insure good glue coverage.
